My Programming Beginning

Programming seems to be a complex field in the IT world. There are many different languages used for programming, and they all serve different functions. The first one I have decided I am going to start with learning is Python. This is considered to be one of the easier programming languages to learn and it will help to give me some basic knowledge on overall programming as well. I chose this due to it being popular across Linux OS distributions, which is what I primarily use so it only makes sense to start here. Afterwards, I plan to learn HTML and Javascript, the two used for web development. Web development is something I want to get into since I have plans to build a site to support Amateur Radio operators in another activity they can participate in, but I will go over that later when I have a better idea of what that will look like. Learning the languages will of course take time, but it should be fun to learn and attempt small projects as I progress in my studies.
